The Junior Builders Exchange will be building homes, community, and hope with Flower City Habitat for Humanity on Friday, September 28th! In addition to volunteers, Habitat needs financial support to grow and help more of our neighbors build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. We all know that homeownership helps lift neighbors out of poverty, gives children the stability to focus and succeed in school, and gives families the foundation to build their lives. Habitat Homebuyers work through financial training, savings plans, sweat equity (where they help build), and then they pay an affordable mortgage, paying it forward to the next neighbor who needs a hand up, not a hand out.
